Timeline of events related to "Baby H"
Sept. 12: Home pregnancy test says "positive"
Sept. 13: Doctor's appointment and test confirm the pregnancy
Sept. 26: First appointment to go over family histories
Oct. 18-22: Phone calls and visits to spill the beans to family and close friends
Oct. 23: Shared the news with our church via song
Oct. 25: We heard the heartbeat! Baby H is definitely in there!
Nov. 22: Three month appt--gained four pounds and heard the heartbeat again
Dec. 1: The first day I actually needed to wear my bella band (to keep my unbuttoned pants up). In the days following I determined I only needed it with certain pants or at certain times. Still not consistently looking pregnant.
Dec. 18: First trip to the hospital for "scary, weird pregnancy pains." You can read more here. This was also the first time we felt a kick. Interesting that they happened on the same night.
Dec. 19: First ultrasound at 20 weeks! Baby appears healthy and weighs approx. 13 ounces, so I'm measuring a little ahead. Pics are up here.
Jan. 17: Second ultrasound at 24 weeks! Pics are up here.
Feb. 4: I finally bought maternity clothes! I bought about seven different items; let's hope they'll get me through the last couple of months!
Feb. 9: Movement!! Instead of flutters and rapid kicks, we finally saw actual movement. Not just quick bulges, but longer pushes against the womb. Crazy!
Feb. 13: The "dreaded" sugar test. Piece of cake. I've yet to hear anything bad come back, so fingers crossed for no anemia or gestational diabetes!
Feb. 16-20: Last flight anywhere for awhile--trip back to Alabama for two baby showers, mine and my sister-in-law's. On my first flight I think I actually felt a foot or hand painfully stabbing me in the belly!
March 31: My baby shower in Mass!
April 8: Easter Sunday, but I found out I tested positive for group B strep. Boo.
